Many centuries after the Imprisoning War, the land of Hyrule has healed its wounds and people have lived in peace for a long time. The memories from the Imprisoning War had faded over time.
Being that so much time has passed, when new disasters came to Hyrule, no one was prepared to stop them. Pestilance and drought raveged the land, even uncontrollable by magic. The king feared that the evil Ganondorf is involved. And so he counseled with his sages and made a decision to investigate the Imprisoned Dark World. The sages found that the seal was apperantly intact. The troubled king offered rewards for anyone who can find the source of these troubles. An answer came from a stranger named Agahnim. He solved the disasters by a previously unseen form of magic. The reward given to Agahnim was a new position of a cheif advisor and heir to the Seven masses proclaimed him their hero. Peace had returned to Hyrule.
However though, rumors started about. Rumors claiming Agahnim rules the country with his magic... Rumors of an experiment in the castle tower at night. The people of Hyrule were full of dread.
