Chapter 1 - The Creation of Hyrule

According to Hylian scrolls, three golden goddesses decended from a distant nebula to the chaotic land of Hyrule. They were Din, the God of Power, Nayru, the God of Wisdom and Farore, the God of Courage.

The three each added to a differant part of the world. Din cultivated the land and dyed the mountains red with her strong flaming arms. Nayru poured her wisdom into the world and created science and wizardry and gave the Earth a spirit of law. Farore soul created all of the life forms to uphold the law. From the animals that crawl to the birds that soar.

When they finished thier work, on thier way to the heavens, created a symbol of thier strength, a golden triangle known as the Triforce. The Triforce is a small, but powerful, portion of the essence of the gods. This artifact was made to guide the intelligent life on the world of Hyrule.

The Gods created six differant races for this new world. Each made for differant evironments. The Gorons in the mountains, the Zoras for the water of Hyrule, the elven Kokari in the forest areas, the dessert living Gerudo, the mysterious Shiekah living in the Shadow of Death Mountain and the Hylians living in the center of Hyrule.

The Hylian people, who had magic infused blood, were endowed with psychic powers and a skill in wizardry. It is also said that thier long ears enabled them to hear special messages from the gods. Thier decendents settled in various parts around the world and passed on thier knowledge and magical lore to all people. But in its passing the lore was often distorted or lost all together.
