Hyrule was now in ruins. There was no sign of the earlier towns and prosper that used to exsist. Ganon's henchmen were on all corners of the land.
Link headed out to the dungeons where the pieces of Triforce were hidden. He had to use his cleverness to discover some of the entrences because they were hidden. Inside he was still not free from Ganon's minions. They held most of the rooms in the dungeons. But this did not stop Link. He fought his way through the dungeons and retrieved the 8 pieces.
Link found the Master Sword (or Magical Sword) to fight Ganon in his hideout at the top of Death Mountain, Specticle Rock. There Link fought through the mazes and eventually he made it to Ganon, the man, or monster, that he searched. On his way there though he found silver arrows cleverly hidden inside the maze.
The dual between the two seemed impossible for the hero. Ganon became hidden from sight, but that didn't stop Link. Link swung around his sword blindly until he appeard. Link then pulled out his bow and released a silver arrow into the monster. Ganon was destroyed and Link could now do what he set out to do. Free the Princess.
With the Princess' release the pieces of the Triforce, Power and Wisdom were reunited. Link was declared a hero and the rebuilding of Hyrule begins.
